UW-Oshkosh went unchallenged in singles play during an 8-1 men's tennis victory over Ripon College on Saturday (March 9) at the YMCA Tennis Center.

Mike Gillespie (So. • De Pere) and Alex Yang (Fr. • Milwaukee) each recorded perfect 6-0, 6-0 triumphs. Gillespie topped Ryan Slowinski in the third flight and Yang bested Tyler Hopewell in the fifth.

Aidan Sauberlich (So. • Green Bay) kept things going with his 6-2, 6-0 defeat of Connor Greenwald at No. 2 singles.

In the first flight, Kevin Lewis (Jr. • Howard) got by Eric Seiler with a 6-3, 6-0 tally. UW-Oshkosh (5-6) added two more wins with Kinan Al-Bitar's (Jr. • Oshkosh) 6-2, 6-1 decision over Anders Goodman and Adam Kasper's (Sr. • Franklin) 6-2, 6-2 decision over Brian Schumacher.

Charlie Bostwick (Fr. • Whitefish Bay) and Ross Kohlhase (Jr. • Green Bay) dominated their No. 3 doubles match with an 8-0 score over Hopewell and Goodman. The Titans then received an 8-2 victory from Kasper and Sauberlich against Slowinski and Schumacher.

Ripon College (1-7) earned its lone point at No. 1 doubles, where Greenwald and Seiler attained an 8-3 win over Gillespie and Lewis.

UW-Oshkosh travels to Orlando, Fla., for four matches from March 18-22.
