Three different players scored for the UW-Oshkosh men's soccer team as it defeated Nebraska Wesleyan University, 3-0, on Saturday (Aug. 30) in Lincoln, Neb., to earn the program's 400th win.

The UW-Oshkosh men's soccer program began in 1984 and has seen just two head coaches over the past 31 years, Toby Bares (1984-2009) and Wytse Molenaar (2010-present). Together, Bares and Molenaar have guided the Titans to a 400-113-50 record, 13 NCAA Division III postseason appearances and an active string of 29 consecutive winning seasons.

UW-Oshkosh (2-0) jumped in front of Nebraska Wesleyan University (0-1) on Elias Efthimiou's goal in the 27th minute (26:01) of play.

The Titans took control of the match on Jonathan Stanley's goal in the 63rd minute (62:18) and then sealed the victory on Billy Cameron's goal in the 84th (83:39). Assists went to Danny Kobin on Stanley's goal and Nick Gonzales on Cameron's.

UW-Oshkosh posted advantages of 16-2 in shots and 6-1 in corner kicks. The Titans launched seven shots in the first half and nine in the second. Nebraska Wesleyan University was held to just one shot in each period.

UW-Oshkosh's shot count featured three from both Stanley and Jacob Hernandez and two from both Efthimiou and Gonzales. Drew Miller and Nick Palacio each fired one shot for the Prairie Wolves.

UW-Oshkosh goalkeeper Nick Barry saved both Nebraska Wesleyan University shots to record his eighth career shutout. Andy Larson stopped five shots while guarding the Nebraska Wesleyan University goal.

The Titans entered the contest ranked 20th in the NCAA Division III by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

UW-Oshkosh opens its home schedule with a match against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday (Sept. 3) at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
