The UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving team won eight of 11 events and totaled 22 top-four finishes in defeating Carroll University, 121-69, Saturday (Oct. 30) in Albee Hall.
Titans Conner Clark and Alex Jernberg took first place in two individual events apiece while performing on a victorious relay squad.
Clark won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:04.99 and the 200-yard individual medley with a swim of 2:11.86. He also joined Drew Davis, Hayden Freeman and Cade Millam for a winning time of 4:04.57 in the 400-yard medley relay.
Jernberg swam to winning times of 2:22.41 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 10:54.29 in the 1,000-yard freestyle. He additionally helped Andrew Copeland, Cody Else and Chase Millam register a first-place time of 3:30.57 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Davis also won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.42 seconds while finishing fourth in the 100-yard freestyle at 53.86 seconds.
Chase Millam added a first-place time of 1:54.13 in the 200-yard freestyle and a third-place performance of 52.58 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle.
UW-Oshkosh's seven second-place listings included a pair from both Copeland and Else. Both swimmers participated in freestyle events, with Copeland marking times of 23.49 seconds at 50 yards and 52.33 seconds at 100 and Else times of 5:28.89 at 500 yards and 11:21.08 at 1,000.
The Titans also received second-place times of 2:21.35 in the 200-yard butterfly from Freeman, 2:24.91 in the 200-yard individual medley from Cade Millam and 2:34.27 in the 200-yard backstroke from Matt Holst.
UW-Oshkosh's other third-place efforts belonged to Holst with a time of 2:29.17 in the 200-yard individual medley and Ben Knoeck in the 200-yard backstroke with a swim of 2:37.30.
Freeman, Knoeck and Cade Millam concluded the Titans' list of fourth-place finishers. Freeman posted a time of 6:11.73 in the 500-yard freestyle while Knoeck went 1:59.13 in the 200-yard freestyle and Millam 2:40.20 in the 200-yard breaststroke.
UW-Oshkosh returns to Albee Hall next Saturday (Nov. 6) for a dual meet against UW-Whitewater.
