OSHKOSH, Wis.- Claiming 15 top-3 finishes, the UW-Oshkosh women's swimming & diving squad returned home to Albee Hall & Pool Saturday (Nov. 16) against the St. Norbert College Green Knights. The Titans were defeated by a narrow 148-145 finish.

Francesca Schiro (Sr. • New Glarus) swam to three freestyle victories, clocking in at 1:59.51 in the 200-yard, 54.68 in the 100-yard, and 25.37 during the 50-yard. She also was assisted by teammates
Kori Burnett (Fr. • Beloit),
Rowan Sinclair (Fr. • Temecula, Calif.) and
Cadence Showalter (Sr. • Naperville, Ill.) in a 400-yard freestyle relay victory finishing at 3:45.03.

Sinclair contributed to a second-place finish in the 400-yard medley at 4:21.16, with teammates
Sienna Della-Peruta (So. • Grayslake, Ill.),
Kylee Dinninger (So. • DeWitt, Mich.) and
Elsa Piering (Fr. • Hartland). In addition, she claimed a first-place victory of her own in the 200-yard butterfly clocking a finish of 2:16.59, as well as a second-place finish in the 100-yard at 1:02.59, ahead of Showalter's third-place finish of 1:03.54.

Della-Peruta also claimed her own first place victory with a 2:16.24 backstroke, along with
Brianna Wesenberg (Jr. • Ripon) with a 11:17.69 1,000-yard freestyle. Wesenberg claimed an additional second place 500-yard freestyle with a finish at 5:32.69.

Della-Peruta finished second in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:02.21, four seconds ahead of third-place finisher
Bella Cichon (So. • Manhattan, Ill.) at 1:06.24.

The 200-yard individual medley saw two Titan podium finishes, with Showalter and Della-Peruta finishing in second and third place at 2:19.67 and 2:22.60, respectively.

Additional third-place finishers for the Titans include Burnett's 26.37 50-yard freestyle, and Showalter's 1,000-yard freestyle finish of 11:20.0.

Grace Fergus' (Sr. • Sugar Grove, Ill.) only top three finish came in the form of a second place 200-yard butterfly behind Sinclair, which came in at 2:28.25.

Maya Indiraraj (Jr. • West Bend) won the 1-meter dive at 218.90, as well as well as the 3-meter at 245.75.
Paige Vitek (So. • Raymond) followed on the 3-meter with a 171.25 second place finish.

The Titans return on the road next Saturday against the Lake Forest College (Ill.) Foresters. The first event is at 1 p.m.
