EAU CLAIRE, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving team opened its 2025-26 campaign on the road in Eau Claire on Saturday (Oct. 11), facing off against the defending WIAC champion UW-Eau Claire Blugolds at the McPhee Center Pool.

The Titans earned seven top-three finishes, but fell to Eau Claire with a final score of 184-51

Charley Cook (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers) placed third in both the 1- and 3- meter diving events, scoring 184.45 and 182.85 points, respectively.

Elias Landolt (McFarland/McFarland) and
Ethan DeGroot (Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Cooper) took second and third in the 1,000-yard freestyle with times of 11:20.00 and 12:00.00, respectively. Landolt also placed third in the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:32.19 finish.

Damen Seremet (Beaver Dam/Beaver Dam) took second in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.73 seconds.

In the 100-yard backstroke,
Charlie Mason (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) placed second with a 1:00.01 finish.

The Titans return to the pool on Saturday, October 18 for the Wisconsin Showcase Invite hosted by Division I Milwaukee. Diving events will begin at 10 a.m. at the Racine Unified School District Aquatic Center while swimming will begin at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha at 11 a.m.
