MADISON, Wis.- For the second time this season,
Callee DeBruin (Kimberly/Seton Home Study School) and
Maya Indiraraj (West Bend/West Bend West) were named the WIAC Kwik Trip women's Swimming & Diving swimmer and diver of the week, respectively, on Tuesday (Dec. 9). The honor was the fourth of the season for DeBruin and the third for Indiraraj.
DeBruin broke three individual program records at the Carthage College Classic during the week. She set both the 1,650-yard freestyle with a first-place time of 17:50.25 and reset the 1,000-yard freestyle mark with her split of 10:45.64 in the event. Her third record was claimed when she won the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:11.54. DeBruin wrapped up her individual events with a second-place time of 1:55:84 in the 200-yard freestyle. A member of four of the Titans' relay teams, she helped the 800-yard freestyle relay to fourth, the 400-yard medley to fourth, the 400-yard freestyle to second, and the 200-yard medley to fourth.
Indiraraj won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events at the meet. She scored 358.10 points in the 1-meter and 365.25 in the 3-meter boards.
