BROWN DEER, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving team started the 2025 WIAC Championship (presented by Culver's) on Wednesday (Feb. 19) and set a pair of program records out of the gate.
 
CJ Willert (Jr. • Eau Claire), Damen Seremet (Jr. • Beaver Dam), Ben Knoeck (Jr. • Cottage Grove), and Drew Davis (Sr. • Bakersfield, Calif.) swam in the 200-yard medley relay and finished in 1:35.14, breaking the previous mark by more than a second.
 
In the 800-yard freestyle relay, Law Lykins (So. • Ellijay, Ga.), Davis, Charlie Mason (Fr. • Algonquin, Ill.), and Leo Ramirez-Gutierrez (So. • Schaumburg, Ill.) bested the 2021 squad's record by nearly two seconds with a 7:05.74 finish.
 
The Titans will for day two of the 2025 WIAC Championship (presented by Culver's) Thursday (Feb. 20). Due to a power outage at the facility, diving warmups will begin at 11:30 a.m. with competition starting immediately following. The evening swimming session is slated for 5 p.m.
