PITTSBURGH- Delaney Cienkus was named the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Division III Gymnast of the Year on Wednesday (April 9).

Cienkus (Sr. • Plainfield, Ill.), a 2025 WCGA Regular Season All-American on the balance beam (first team) and floor exercise (second team), averaged a beam score of 9.780 and a floor score of 9.765 in the regular season. She earned WIAC Gymnast of the Year after leading the nation with a season average score of 9.8063 points on the event balance beam and ranked fifth in the floor exercise at 9.7938 points. She won the balance beam three times and the floor exercise twice during the regular season.

Cienkus helped the Titans win their fifth consecutive WIAC championship on March 8 with a meet record score of 193.925 points before Oshkosh finished third at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championship.

Cienkus joins
Emily Buffington as the second Titan to collect the regional honor. Buffington was named the Division III Gymnast of the Year after the 2022 season.

The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association is a membership-led, professional association representing the nation's intercollegiate women's gymnastics coaches within Division I, II & III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. They work to promote and elevate the sport at all levels of collegiate competition.
