Kyle Dietzen (Omro/Omro) played an integral role in UW-Oshkosh's 38-21 win over Roosevelt University (Ill.) in the Titans' home opener on Saturday (Sept. 20). He was named the WIAC Kwik Trip Football Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday (Sept. 23).
Dietzen recorded his second straight double-digit tackle contest against NCAA Division II Roosevelt University (Ill.) at home on Sept. 20, with 13 tackles, including seven solo, both season highs. He sacked the Lakers' quarterback, who fumbled the ball for 16 yards, and the Titans recovered the ball before scoring on the next play.
