OSHKOSH, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving produced 11 top-3 finishes as it hosted UW-La Crosse at Albee Hall & Pool Saturday (Jan. 17). The podium finishes were not enough as the Eagles took down the Titans, 231-68.

In the individual swimming events, the Titans took second three times and third three times.

Charlie Mason (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) finished the 200-yard freestyle in 1:51.60,
Landon Bicknase (Stevens Point/SPASH) swam a 1:02.90 in the 100-yard breaststroke and
Leo Ramirez-Gutierrez (Schaumburg, Ill./Hoffman Estates) finished with a 5:13.65 in the 500-yard freestyle.

CJ Willert (Eau Claire/Eau Claire North) took third in the 100-yard backstroke in 57.81 seconds. He was joined by
Damen Seremet (Beaver Dam/Beaver Dam) and Mason with third-place finishes. Seremet took 2:24.73 to finish the 200-yard breaststroke and Mason raced to third in the 200-yard individual medley in 1:51.60.

In the relays the team of Willert, Seremet, Ramirez-Gutierrez and
Drew Crees (Manitowoc/Manitowoc Lincoln) placed third in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:40.67. Ramirez-Gutierrez,
Law Lykins (Ellijay, Ga./Gilmer), Crees and
Nate Losch (Wind Lake/Muskego) also placed third in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:30.66.

In 1-meter diving,
Jacob Gordon (Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway West) placed second with a score of 224.15 points and
Charley Cook (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers) came in third with 186.30. Gordon also claimed third on the 3-meter board with 207.85 points.

The Titans are back in the water on February 7, as they will host the Milwaukee School of Engineering at 1 p.m. in Albee Hall & Pool for their final regular season meet of the year.
