NORTHFIELD, Minn.- UW-Oshkosh men's cross country traveled out to compete in the Carleton College (Minn.) Running of the Cows on Saturday (Oct. 3). The Titans placed sixth in the Maize Division, scoring 160 points.
UW-Eau Claire won the race with 95 points while Saint John's University's (Minn.) Cole Stencel won the individual title in 25:17.1.
Alex Peterson (Oconto Falls/Gillett) once again led the Titans, placing seventh overall in a time 26:18.2.
Aaron Nehls (Fredonia/Ozaukee) was Oshkosh's second-fastest runner, running a 26:45.8 for 22nd. In his season debut,
Lucas Nicholson (Pewaukee/Pewaukee) ran 27:02.2, to claim 36th place.
Nick Sheklarevski (Roselle, Ill./Lake Park) was one of two Titans to get a personal record. The fourth runner, he took 53rd in 27:14.0.
Brady Lewis (Cedarburg/Cedarburg) was the final scoring Titan, running the course in 27:14.1 for 54th place.
The Titans return to the course on Saturday, Oct. 10 for the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational in Appleton.
