BROWN DEER, Wis.- Charlie Mason (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) broke UW-Oshkosh's 400-yard individual medley record twice during Friday's (Feb. 20) events of the WIAC Championship.
 
Mason finished the preliminary round of the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:10.99, breaking the previous record of 4:12.96 set by Jarrett Lieder in 2021. He then reset the mark during the final round with a third-place time of 4:09.15.
 
Damen Seremet (Beaver Dam/Beaver Dam) competed in the 100-yard breaststroke final and took fifth for the Titans with a time of 56.88 seconds.
 
The Titans are currently in fifth place with a total of 136 points.
 
Oshkosh will return to the Schroeder Aquatic Center Saturday morning (Feb. 21) for the final day of competition.
