BROWN DEER, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's swimming & diving finished the WIAC Championship in third place with 467 team points, the finish and point total were the program's best since taking third at the 2002 edition of the meet with 616 points.

UW-La Crosse won the team title with 994 points, followed by UW-Eau Claire with 894.50. Following the Titans was UW-Stevens Points in fourth with 411 points and UW-Whitewater fifth with 368.50.

At the conclusion of the meet on Saturday (Feb. 21), head coach
Christopher Culp was named the league's Coach of the Year, the fourth honor of his career. The only multi-time conference coach of the year in program history, Culp was previously named the co-coach of the year in 2018 and earned outright recognition in 2023 and 2024. He joins Rich Pein (11-time) from UW-La Crosse and Al Boelk (5-time) from UW-Stevens Point as the only women's coaches to earn the award at least four times in their career.

Sienna Della-Peruta (Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake Central) broke a nearly 30-year old school record in the 200-yard backstroke. She swam the event in a second-place time of 2:05.60, breaking the record of 2:05.83 set by Cheri Tiegs in 1996.

Bella Cichon (Manhattan, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) and
Mckenna Keepers (Sussex/Sussex Hamilton) swam in the 200-yard breaststroke, and both finished in the top eight. Cichon took third in the event with a 2:26.68 and Keepers took eighth with a time of 2:32.23.

Rowan Sinclair (Temecula, Calif./Great Oak) claimed a third-place finish for the Titans in the 200-yard butterfly with a 2:10.40.

Callee DeBruin (Kimberly/Seton Home Study School) and
Brianna Wesenberg (Ripon/Homeschool) competed in the 1,650-yard freestyle, taking fourth (18:17.64) and eighth (18:30.49) places, respectively.

Kori Burnett (Beloit/Beloit Memorial) took eighth in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 55.10.

In the women's 3-meter diving,
Maya Indiraraj (West Bend/West Bend West) took fourth with total score of 382.35 points.
