Quin Smith enters his first year as the assistant sports information director at UW-Oshkosh in 2026-27.

Smith most recently served as the assistant sports information director at National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) member University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) from 2024-26.

Smith arrived in Williamsburg as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2024 and was promoted to the full-time assistant role shortly after. In his first year with the Patriots, Smith was the primary contact for the men's and women's cross country, men's and women's bowling and men's and women's tennis programs. He managed the teams' social media presences, statistical and press release coverage and graphic design while also serving as a public address announcer, photographer and broadcast producer.

During the 2025-26 school year, Smith transitioned to covering the women's volleyball, men's wrestling, men's and women's bowling and baseball teams with the same responsibilities.

Smith was a member of the sports information staff that was honored as the inaugural recipient of NAIA Ball's Cody Butler Award in 2025. The award is presented to the department that covers its baseball program the best throughout the season. That year, the Cumberlands staff covered the baseball team's 50-12 season with both regular season and tournament Mid-South Conference championships and a trip to the NAIA World Series after sweeping its way through the Williamsburg Opening Round.

A Verona native, Smith graduated from UW-La Crosse with his bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in business administration in the spring of 2024 and earned his master's degree in business administration from Cumberlands in the winter of 2025.
