Kyle Dwyer enters his first year as an athletic trainer at UW-Oshkosh in 2025-26.
Dwyer earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from fellow WIAC institution UW-Platteville in 2018 and his master’s of athletic training from Loras College (Iowa) in 2021.

He worked with the football, men’s wrestling and baseball teams while a student trainer at Platteville and the men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s track & field, football, men’s wrestling and softball programs with the Duhawks. During his time in Dubuque, Iowa, Dwyer was also an athletic trainer with the Fighting Saints, an ice hockey team in the United States Hockey League, the top junior league in the nation that is sanctioned by USA Hockey.

After graduating from Loras, Dwyer returned to UW-Platteville and served as athletic trainer for the Pioneers’ football, men’s soccer, men’s basketball, track & field and baseball programs between 2021 and 2024 before departing for NCAA Division I Youngstown State University (Ohio). While with the Penguins, he worked directly with their football and track & field programs.

Dwyer is certified by numerous national organizations including the American Red Cross and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
