Sylviann Momont was named the interim head cross country coach ahead of the 2026 season.

Momont, who will also be entering her fifth season as an assistant coach with the track & field programs this winter, joined the staff at UW-Oshkosh as the full-time assistant coach ahead of the 2023 indoor season, focusing on the multi and high jump events.

Under Momont's leadership, the men's track & field program has captured three WIAC high jump titles, three NCAA Division III high jump All-America medals and eight Division III heptathlon medals. Cavan Dobberstein was named the WIAC Indoor Championship Men's Newcomer of the Year following the 2024 championship for his second-place performance in the heptathlon. Outdoors, the men have won the conference's high jump title twice and the decathlon once. Including the 2025 individual national title in the decathlon, the Titans have claimed four total All-America medals in the multi event along with a top-eight finish in the high jump.

On the women's side, Momont coached Megan Hunt to two WIAC pentathlon titles during the indoor season, both of which earned her WIAC Women's Field Performer of the Meet in 2024 and 2025. Hunt was also a one-time All-American in the pentathlon and won the league's heptathlon title once.
 
Momont graduated from UW-Stevens Point with her bachelor's degree in business management in 2020 and her master's degree in business administration in 2021. A six-time All-American in the indoor pentathlon, outdoor heptathlon, and indoor and outdoor high jump, Momont also captured five WIAC individual titles and was named the league's field performer of the meet following the 2019 indoor championship.
