Grier started the second set's scoring with a block, followed up by Moe's fourth kill of the match. Augustana never led or scored more than twice in a row for the remainder of the set. Three straight offensive points gave the Titans a 9-6 edge and a 4-0 run made the score 16-11 before Augustana called a timeout. The deficit slowly grew the rest of the way, ending by way of an Izzy Coon (Jr. • Fond du Lac) ace.
