STEVENS POINT, Wis.- Andrew Schad led the UW-Oshkosh men's wrestling team at the non-scoring UW-Stevens Point Pointer Open on Saturday (Nov. 2), winning the consolation bracket title.

After losing his first match in the 133-lb bracket, Schad (Jr. • Kiel) defeated Carlos Munoz-Flores from Aurora University (Ill.) by 17-9 major decision, Brayden Burmeister from Luther College (Iowa) by 7-1 decision, Jad Alwawi from North Central College by 14-7 decision, and Alexander Spray of Concordia Moorhead (Minn.) by 15-8 decision.

At 165-lbs,
Ryan Bergman (Fr. • Watertown) tallied a 6-4 decision, 18-2 technical fall, and a 10-1 major decision on his way to the consolation championship match. Manchester University's (Ind.) James Bettcher won over Bergman in the title match by 16-3 major decision.

In the consolation bracket,
Elijah Matzke (Fr. • Rochester, Minn.) won over unattached Tucker Hass by forfeit and unattached Jose Medina by 44-second fall.

Vincent Bird (Fr. • Oshkosh) defeated Dylan Pepper of Luther College (Iowa) by 7-5 decision at 184-lbs.

Camden Harms (So. • Mahomet, Ill.) and
Garth Martell (Fr. • Oshkosh) each recorded a win for UW-Oshkosh at 285-lbs. Harms pinned fellow Titan
Brodie Driessen (So. • West Allis) in 2:26 and Martell earned 14-1 major decision victory over Alex Diaz of North Central College (Ill.).
