OSHKOSH, Wis.- In the first main event dual in UW-Oshkosh women's wrestling history, the Titans defeated Carthage College, 30-16, on Thursday (Nov. 21).

The Titans (1-2) collected two pins and a technical fall with three forfeit victories (124-lbs, 138-lbs, 207-lbs) over the Firebirds (0-2).

Audrey Swiderek (Fr. • Albuquerque, N.M.) recorded a 10-0 technical fall, tying the score at 4-4 early.

Emma Hady (Fr. • Muscoda) and
Paige Haaf (Fr. • St. Croix Falls),
Annesley Day (Fr. • Round Rock, Texas) pinned Margaret Anders in just 1:00 at 131-lbs to put UW-Oshkosh up 14-8.

The Firebirds took the 145- and 160-lb matches and pulled the team score to 20-16, however
Ella Creighton (Fr. • Lake Geneva) earned 4:11 fall over Makenna Bovee to seal the win extended by
Alivia Davey's (Fr. • Berlin) automatic win at 207-lbs.
