The Titans and Green Knights traded points early in the first set before UW-Oshkosh took an 8-5 edge with a 4-point spurt. Oshkosh extended its lead to six points with another 4-0 run and didn't allow St. Norbert to score more than a point at a time for the rest of the set. Moe's kill and Malia Winchel's (So. • Oak Creek) set up match point which Oshkosh won on an attack error.

St. Norbert jumped ahead in the second set, however Oshkosh scored four quick points to once again take a lead. The Green Knights tied the score twice before the Titans scored their 12th point. Meanwhile, Oshkosh slowly increased the edge by scoring three consecutive points three times.

After UW-Oshkosh tallied the first two points of the third set, the Green Knights went 7-2 to take a 3-point edge. The Titans responded by going 6-0 with two kills from Robyn Kirsch (Sr. • Wausau), one more form Moe and two aces from Mau. Sami Perlberg (So. • Chippewa Falls) and Kirsch each earned a kill, paired with another attack error for a later 3-point spurt before Oshkosh went 8-0 and made the score 17-5.
