OSHKOSH, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh men's wrestling dropped its final WIAC dual of the season on Thursday (Jan. 9), losing to UW-Platteville by a 44-0 score at Kolf Sports Center.
 
Garth Martell (Fr. • Oshkosh) wrestled Oshkosh's closest match of the night at 285-lbs., losing to Alex Ashauer by a 4-0 decision. 
Logan Harel (Jr. • Cadott) and 
Ryan Bergman (Fr. • Watertown) also kept their matches close, dropping the 141-lb. and 165-lb. bouts by six points each.
 
At 174-lbs., 
Kyle Rasper (So. • Johnsburg, Ill.) lost by 19-10 major decision.
 
JP Culver (So. • Vicksburg, Mich.), 
Leonardo Ruggiero (Fr. • Rome, Italy), 
Jacob Hibbard (Fr. • Mishicot), 
Gage Coppock (Sr. • Mosinee), and 
Roman Martell (So. • Oshkosh) all dropped technical fall decisions while 
Andrew Schad (Jr. • Kiel) was pinned by Brady Grennan at 2:19.
 
The Titans head to Milwaukee to face the Milwaukee School of Engineering (4-2) next Thursday (Jan. 16) at 7 p.m.
