OSHKOSH, Wis- The UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving team fell to UW-Whitewater, 92-196, at Albee Hall & Pool on Saturday (Nov. 1). The Titans earned three wins behind
Leo Ramirez-Gutierrez (Schaumburg, Ill./Hoffman Estates),
Damen Seremet (Beaver Dam/Beaver Dam), and
Charley Cook (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers).

In the first event of the day, the 200-yard medley relay squad of
Charlie Mason (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs), Seremet, Ramirez-Gutierrez, and
Nate Losch (Wind Lake/Muskego) placed third in 1:41.75.

Elias Landolt (McFarland/McFarland) kicked off the individual events with a third-place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:00.12.
Law Lykins (Ellijay, Ga./Gilmer) finished the 200-yard freestyle in 1:53.12 for second place and
Charlie Mason (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) swam a 58.23 in the 100-yard backstroke to take third.

Seremet won Oshkosh's first event of the meet in the 100-yard breaststroke, beating the nine-swimmer field in 1:01.64.

The Titans claimed second place in each of the next two events.
Julian Koller (Hartland/Arrowhead Union) swam the 200-yard butterfly in 2:11.74 and Ramirez-Gutierrez finished the 50-yard freestyle in 22.51.

Cook took second in the 1-meter diving with 204.14 points before winning the 3-meter diving by tallying a 199.20.

In the 200-yard backstroke,
Charlie Mason (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) placed second with a 2:07.52 finish.
Elias Landolt (McFarland/McFarland) then took third in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:20.82.

Ramirez-Gutierrez took the Titans' second event title with a 55.32-second time in the 100-yard butterfly before Cook won the 3-meter diving. Mason claimed his second second-place time of the day with a 2:04.59 in the 200-yard individual medley.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Lykins, Ramirez-Gutierrez, Losch, and Seremet closed out the meet with a 1:31.41 for second place in the event.

Oshkosh is scheduled to be back in the pool on Saturday, November 8 for the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational in Appleton. The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. in the Boldt Natatorium.
