Four Titans Named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District®

GREENWOOD, Ind.- UW-Oshkosh women's volleyball was represented by four student-athletes on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team on Tuesday (Dec. 16).
 
Izzy Coon (Fond du Lac/St. Mary's Springs Academy) and Grace Juergens (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Community) earned the honor for the second time in their careers while Jaclyn Dutkiewicz (Franklin/Franklin) and Samantha Perlberg (Chippewa Falls/Chippewa Falls) were named academic all-district for the first time. Juergens and Perlberg were selected for All-America voting.
 
Coon, a 2023 academic all-district selection, is a nursing major with a 3.74 cumulative grade-point average. Oshkosh's starting setter averaged 6.51 assists per set across all 37 matches for a total of 820 on the year, reaching the 2,000-assist career mark at Salisbury University (Md.) on August 30. She was named All-WIAC Honorable Mention while recording 33 service aces and double-digit assists in every match including at least 20 in 20 matches and a career-best 45 against Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.) at Kolf Sports Center on September 5. Coon registered 12 assist-dig double-doubles this year.
 
A nursing major with a 3.69 cumulative GPA, Dutkiewicz played in 36 matches this season. She averaged 5.29 assists per set and accumulated a total of 587 to go with 38 service aces. Dutkiewicz recorded a career-best 30 assists and tallied 12 digs against UW-Eau Claire in the WIAC Tournament (presented by Culver's) championship match at home on November 15.
 
Juergens owns a 3.72 cumulative GPA as a rehabilitation science major. The outside hitter led the Titans with 50 service aces and ranked second on the team with 401 kills, averaging 3.23 per set and hitting at a .210 clip across 37 starts. The All-WIAC First Team, American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region First Team, and AVCA All-America Honorable Mention selection owned eight double-doubles including a 24-kill, 18-dig performance against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Calif.). She reached 1,000 career kills against Trinity University (Texas) in the NCAA semifinal match on December 4. Juergens, who was named the WIAC Kwik Trip Offensive Player of the Week for the period of September 29-October 5 and selected to the NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team, was named to her first academic all-district team in 2024 as a member of the University of New Haven (Conn.) women's volleyball team.
 
Perlberg is majoring in marketing and business analytics and owns a cumulative GPA of 3.76. The pin hitter finished her junior campaign with 560 kills, the most in a single year by a Titan since jane Copenhaver recorded 604 in 2000. She led Division III with a program record 1,478 total attacks, ranked second in kills, and third with 626.5 points. The owner of 19 double-doubles, including five in the national tournament, Perlberg registered at least 20 kills seven times including a 32-kill, 20-dig match at UW-Whitewater on October 29. Her kills in the contest matched the single-match program best that Jessie Goffard set against Eau Claire on September 21, 2001. She was named to the AVCA All-American First Team, the AVCA All-Region First Team and selected as the region player of the year, and the All-WIAC First Team and named the league's player of the year. The NCAA regional and championship tournaments most outstanding player, Perlberg was also selected as the AVCA Division III Player of the Week once and the WIAC Kwik Trip Offensive Player of the Week four times. She reached 1,000 career kills against Hope College (Mich.) at home on September 13 and 1,000 career digs against Calvin University (Mich.) in the NCAA quarterfinal on December 3.
 
UW-Oshkosh (34-3) won the first NCAA Division III championship in program history and the 51st national championship in school history on December 6 with a 3-0 win over the University of La Verne (Calif.). The Titans swept all six of their national tournament matches, a first since Juniata College (Pa.) completed the feat in 2004, after winning the WIAC regular season championship for the third year in a row and the WIAC Tournament title for the first time since 2008.
 
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
