KENOSHA, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving broke a school record and earned 28 top-eight finishes during first two day of Carthage Classic.

CJ Willert (Eau Claire/Eau Claire North),
Damen Seremet (Beaver Dam/Beaver Dam),
Leo Ramirez-Gutierrez (Schaumburg, Ill./Hoffman Estates), and
Law Lykins (Ellijay, Ga./Gilmer) broke the 400-yard medley relay record with a time of 3:31.12. The record was set by the same team just 10 months before at the WIAC 2025 Championship with a 3:31.26.

The Titans also had an eighth place finish in the event with
Kayden Haxton (New Port Richey, Fla./River Ridge),
Landon Bicknase (Stevens Point/SPASH),
Julian Koller (Hartland/Arrowhead Union), and
Nate Losch (Wind Lake/Muskego) (3:41.29).

Willert and Seremet also secured third place finishes for the Titans in the 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard breaststroke respectively with Willert finishing with a time of 2:01.15 and Seremet with a 2:10.11.

Charlie Mason (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) also took a third place spot in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:59.24.

In the 100-yard freestyle, both
Gavin Wicklander (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee) and Ramirez-Gutierrez had top eight finishes with Wicklander coming in sixth with a time of 47.90 and Ramirez-Gutierrez coming in eighth with a 47.96.

The 500-yard freestyle also had two top eight finishes with Titans Haxton (5:04.56) and Bicknase (5:08.53) taking the seventh and eight spots, respectively.

Elias Landolt (McFarland/McFarland) swam the 1650-yard freestyle and secured an eighth place spot with a time of 17:51.82.

Seremet took first for the Titans in the 100-yard breaststroke, winning the event with a time of 57.05.

Seremet also took second in the 50-yard freestyle with a final time of 21.47, closely followed by fellow Titans Wicklander in third with a 21.58, and Ramirez-Gutierrez in fourth with a 21.74.

Mason swam the 400-yard individual medley in 4:15.45, gaining the Titans a second place finish in the event.

The 200-yard freestyle saw two top eight finishes with Lykins and Wicklander taking seventh and eighth with the respective times of 1:49.51 and 1:51.88.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of Wicklander, Ramirez-Gutierrez, Willert, and Seremet took second with a time of 1:26.66. Lykins, Mason, Bicknase, and
Drew Crees (Manitowoc/Manitowoc Lincoln) came in eighth with a 1:29.54.

For the 200-yard medley relay. Willert, Seremet, Koller, and Wicklander came in third (1:37.06), with Mason, Bicknase,
Grant Stahlback (Monticello, Minn./Monticello), and Crees coming in eighth (1:40.51).

Seremet, Wicklander, Lykins, and Ramirez-Gutierrez took third in the 400-yard freestyle relay, finishing with a time of 3:11.71. The team on Mason, Losch, Haxton, and Willert came in seventh with a 3:18.05.

The 800-yard freestyle relay also gained the Titans two top eight finishes with Lykins, Mason, Wicklander, and Ramirez-Gutierrez coming in fourth (7:09.71) and Haxton, Losch, Bicknase, and
Logan Krueger (Glendale/Nicolet Union) coming in eighth (7:26.21).

In men's diving,
Jacob Gordon (Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway West) took fifth place on the 1-meter board with a score of 318.85, with
Glen Cole (Milwaukee/Whitnall) in sixth with 312.30 points and
Charley Cook (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers) in eighth with 272.60 points.

In 3-meter diving, Cole and Cook took fourth and fifth with the respective scores of 358.30 and 311.60.

The team finished third out of the six teams competing, with a total score of 820.

The Titans will return to the Koenitzer Aquatic Center at Carthage College to continue their competition schedule on Saturday, January 10 at 1 p.m.
