MINNEAPOLIS- Among the UW-Oshkosh men's wrestling team's 10 student-athletes to compete at the NCAA Division III Region VII Championship on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 28-March 1),
Brody Toledo led the way with a second-place finish in the 133-pound bracket.

Toledo (Fr. • Burlington) defeated Liam Anderson from the Milwaukee School of Engineering by a 4-2 decision in the first round, pinned Kie Anderson from Concordia-Moorhead in 1:03 in the quarterfinal, and earned a 5-4 win over UW-La Crosse's Wyatt Magloski in the semifinal to advance to the first place match. Chance Suddeth of Augsburg College (Minn.), the 15th-ranked wrestler at 133-pounds in Division III, won the championship match over Toledo with a 6-3 decision.

Leonardo Ruggiero (Fr. • Rome, Italy) won a match in the 149-pound bracket, defeating UW-Platteville's Trent DuMont by a 9-5 decision.

Toledo will head to Providence, R.I. to compete in the two-day (March 14-15) Division III Championship hosted by Johnson & Wales University (R.I.) at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
