MADISON, Wis.-Â A pair of seniors student-athletes on the UW-Oshkosh baseball team were tabbed for WIAC Kwik Trip Baseball Athlete of the Week honors on Tuesday (March 10) when the conference announced the athletes of the week for the week of March 3-9.
Stebane (Sr. • Brillion) hit .474 (9-for-19) in the Titans' undefeated road trip to Florida during the week, collecting a triple, four runs, and five RBIs. He hit an RBI single and a two-RBI triple against the University of Dubuque (Iowa) on March 7. In the final two games of the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational, Stebane recorded a pair of runs and an RBI in each game.
Brinkman (Sr • New London) allowed no runs in seven innings against Keystone College (Pa.) on March 9, for his first win of the season. He allowed two hits and five total baserunners, while striking out eight batters.
