PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Brody Toledo represented the UW-Oshkosh men's wrestling at the NCAA Division III Championships on Friday (March 14) wrestling against the best competitors in the nation in his first collegiate season.

Johnson & Wales University-Providence (R.I.) is the host of this year's championships and is holding the meet at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island.

Toledo (Fr. • Burlington) competed in the 133-pound bracket as an unseeded wrestler. He started his national championship debut with a bye before falling to sixth-seeded Jonah Paulino from Roanoke College in a 16-3 major decision. Toledo then faced Coby Haney from Millikin University (Ill.), also unseeded in the consolation bracket. Haney defeated Toledo by a 19-3 technical fall.

Toledo, who finished his season with a 12-18 record, including a 4-3 mark at 133-pounds. He pinned six opponents across the campaign. He qualified for the national championships with a second-place finish at the Region VII meet in Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 28-March 1.
