BROWN DEER, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's swimming & diving claimed five top-eight finishes in the third day of the WIAC Championship on Friday (Feb. 20).
Callee DeBruin (Kimberly/Seton Home Study School) swam the 200-yard freestyle finishing with a time of 1:54.59, taking third place in the event.
Sienna Della-Peruta (Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake Central) also took third for the Titans, swimming the 100-yard backstroke in 58.11 seconds.
Rowan Sinclair (Temecula, Calif./Great Oak) competed in the 400-yard individual medley and placed fourth with a time of 4:43.06.
Bella Cichon (Manhattan, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) swam the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:07.33 finishing in fourth place.
Kori Burnett (Beloit/Beloit Memorial) competed in the 100-yard butterfly and finished in seventh place with a 59.94.
The Titans are currently in third with a total of 178 points.
Oshkosh will return to the Schroeder Aquatic Center Saturday (Feb. 21) morning for the final day of competition.
