MOUNT VERNON, Iowa- UW-Oshkosh men's wrestling fell, 51-0, in a dual match at Cornell College on Friday (Feb. 6).
 
Cornell (5-6) registered a pair of pins and won six bouts by technical fall on the way to victory.
 
Oshkosh's Logan Harel (Cadott/Cadott) suffered a 9-8 defeat during the closing seconds against Eliot Cooney at 141 pounds in the dual's closest contest.
 
Cornell got pins from Owen Adlfinger in 5:16 over Jacob Ward (Green Bay/Bay Port) at 149 pounds and Jackson Brinker in 1:24 over Desmond Walker (Oshkosh/Winneconne) at 197 pounds.
 
The Rams notched technical fall victories of 16-0 (2:36) by Jase Van Pelt over JP Culver (Vicksburg, Mich./Vicksburg Community) at 125 pounds, 17-2 (4:42) by Eli Sneed against Ryan Hanson (McHenry, Ill./McHenry Community) at 133 pounds, 18-2 (6:24) by AJ Parrish over Caidan Ronning (Plano, Ill./Plano) at 157 pounds, 21-5 (4:35) by Brian Petry against Logan Andrews (Wauconda, Ill./Wauconda) at 165 pounds, 16-1 (4:01) by Nolan Howell over Nathan Lez-Messman at 174 pounds, and 19-4 (4:19) by Landen Schemmel against Kyle Rasper (Johnsburg, Ill./Johnsburg) at 184 pounds.
 
Braydon Hoffman concluded the match with a win via injury over Roman Martell (Oshkosh/Oshkosh West) in the 285-pound bout.
 
Oshkosh (2-10) closes out the regular season Saturday (Feb. 7) at the UW-Eau Claire Don Parker Memorial Open.
