Schill Headlines Titans’ All-WIAC Selections

MADISON, Wis.- Logan Schill (Pewaukee/Pewaukee) was named to the First Team as one of five Titans to be honored on the 2026 All-WIAC Baseball Team on Tuesday (May 12).
 
Schill, an Honorable Mention selection in 2025, collected All-WIAC First Team honors for the first time in his career while Baris Brua (Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein), 2025 First Team selection Brett Gaynor (Long Grove, Ill./Stevenson) and Braydon Skenandore (De Pere/West De Pere) were all tabbed for the Honorable Mention squad. Parker Thompson (Wauwatosa/Wauwatosa East) represented UW-Oshkosh on the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
 
The First Team features the top 20 vote getters on WIAC coach ballots. The 2026 Honorable Mention Team is comprised of 22 players. Voting is based on conference statistics only.
 
UW-Platteville's Anthony Massa was named WIAC Player of the Year, UW-La Crosse's AJ Curtis was named WIAC Pitcher of the Year and Platteville's Brayden Knoll was named WIAC Newcomer of the Year. After the Warhawks became the first program to go undefeated in conference play since the 1995 Titans squad and won the 10th conference tournament title, UW-Whitewater head coach John Vodenlich was voted as the WIAC Coach of the Year for the 13th time.
 
Schill started all 24 WIAC games he played in, recording a .325 batting average while leading Oshkosh with two triples, four home runs, 16 RBI, 13 stolen bases, a .458 on-base percentage, a .578 slugging percentage and a 1.036 on-base plus slugging percentage. He scored 20 runs this season and hit five doubles while walking 11 times and earning first base on 11 hit by pitches.
 
Across the entire season Schill played in 34 games this spring and started 33 of those contests. He batted .302 with 35 hits, five doubles, 15 walks, 21 RBI and 23 stolen bases, leading the Titans with 27 runs, two triples, six home runs, 16 hit by pitches, a .977 on-base percentage and a .534 slugging percentage. The center fielder converted all 69 of his chances in the field.
 
Schill had 10 multi-hit games this season and had a team-best 22-game reached base streak between March 13 and April 19. He also stole at least two bases in seven games with a season-high three stolen bags against College of St. Scholastica in Auburndale, Fla. on March 7.
 
In his freshman campaign, Brua went 3-3 in six starts against WIAC teams with a 3.70 ERA. Across 41.1 innings, he allowed 17 earned runs on 32 hits and 11 walks while striking out a team-high 45 batters, the second-most in the league.
 
Overall, he went 3-4 in nine starts, pitching 53 innings. He led Oshkosh with a 4.08 ERA and fanned 54 batters against 44 hits and 19 walks, allowing 24 earned runs.
 
Brua pitched his first career complete game in Wisconsin Rapids on April 5. He shut out UW-Stevens Point across eight innings, striking out seven while giving up five hits and hitting one. He struck out a season-high 10 batters against UW-Eau Claire on March 28.
 
Gaynor started six games for Oshkosh in 2026, all against conference opponents. He went 3-1 with one complete game while posting a 3.00 ERA and 34 strikeouts against 33 innings of work. He allowed 11 earned runs on 27 hits and 13 walks. He struck out a season-high eight batters twice.
 
Gaynor pitched a complete-game shutout against UW-Stout at Tiedemann Field on April 25, going all eight innings and allowing nine baserunners. He struck out seven Blue Devils, including two in the fourth and fifth innings, and faced the minimum in three frames against five hits, three walks and a hit batter.
 
Across 37 games, including 36 starts, Skenandore batted a team-best .373 in conference play with 38 hits, five doubles and two home runs while scoring 17 times and sending in an additional 14. He also earned 10 free passes to first base (seven walks, three hit by pitches) to bump his on-base percentage up to .425.
 
Overall, Skenandore paced the Titans with a .377 batting average, leading the program with 52 hits and 23 RBI. He accumulated six total doubles and three home runs while tallying 17 multi-hit games across the season. In the field, Skenandore recorded just one error on 163 total chances for a fielding percentage of .994. He also recorded nine assists and converted eight double plays.
 
Oshkosh (16-23, 12-16 WIAC) finished fifth in the WIAC standings, missing out on the league tournament by a game. The 16 overall wins were the fewest since winning 15 games in 2012 and the losing WIAC record was the first since going 11-13 in 2019.
