GREENWOOD, Ind.- Five members of the UW-Oshkosh softball team earned academic all-district honors from College Sports Communicators on Tuesday (May 26).
Olivia Baugnet (De Pere/De Pere),
Grace Nardi (Marquette, Mich./Negaunee),
Mary Kate Quaid (Aurora, Ill./Oswego East),
Olivia Ullman (Denmark/Denmark) and
Amanda Martineck (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) each represented the Titans on the team for the first time in their careers.
Baugnet is an elementary education major with a 3.86 cumulative grade-point average. An All-WIAC First Team selection, she played in all 44 games this spring and started in 40. She hit .333 with an on-base plus slugging percentage of .687. The left fielder recorded three hits twice on the year.
Martineck, the Titans' first baseman, owns a 3.61 cumulative GPA as a rehabilitation science major. She started all 44 of Oshkosh's games and hit at a .271 clip with a .731 OPS. Martineck hit 10 doubles and two home runs while drawing seven walks, scoring 19 runs and recording 23 RBI. She had 10 multi-hit games this season, including a 7-of-8 day at the plate in the Titans' doubleheader sweep of Marian University on April 22.
Nardi owns a 3.94 cumulative GPA as a nursing major. Across 23 appearances with 15 starts, she posted a 10-2 record with a save in the circle, accumulating a 1.44 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP in 82.2 innings of work. The All-WIAC First Team honoree pitched three complete games, all of which were shutouts, and notched back-to-back no-hitters against UW-River Falls and UW-Stevens Point on April 26 and April 30, respectively. Nardi held opponents to a team-low .185 at the plate while striking out 81 batters against 55 hits and 47 walks.
Quaid is a physical education major with a 3.69 cumulative GPA. The starting catcher earned All-WIAC Honorable Mention status after hitting .287 with a .792 OPS across 44 games and 41 starts. She led the Titans with five home runs and 25 RBI while going down on strikes a team-low seven times. Quaid totaled 35 hits with six doubles and earned 10 walks while scoring 11 times.
Ullman, who led the Titans in most hitting categories this season, is a business and marketing major with a 3.91 cumulative GPA. She led Oshkosh with a .391 batting average, a .900 OPS, 52 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, 70 total bases, 33 runs scored and 10 stolen bases on her way to All-WIAC First Team honors. The third baseman paced the Titans with 15 multi-hit games and a 16-game reached base streak while starting all 44 games.
The 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
