INDIANAPOLIS- Dylan Doss (Sterling, Ill./Sterling) and Joshua Rivers (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook), fresh off helping UW-Oshkosh men's track & field to a pair of third-place finishes at the NCAA Division III Indoor & Outdoor Championships this year, will compete at the Toyota USA Track & Field (USATF) Outdoor Championships on Thursday (July 23).
 
While Doss will be making his first appearance at the national noncollegiate level, Rivers will compete at the USATF Championships for the third time in his career (2025 indoor and outdoor championships). This marks the second time in two years that two Titans will compete at a USATF event: Rivers and Davian Willems (De Pere/West De Pere) both competed at the 2025 indoor meet.
 
The 2026 outdoor championships will be hosted at Icahn Stadium in New York City between Thursday and Sunday (July 23-26) and will be broadcast live and on demand on NBC and USATF.tv. Live results will be posted on the USATF website.
 
"I am beyond excited for Josh and Dylan to represent UW-Oshkosh at the USATF Outdoor Championships," UW-Oshkosh head track & field coach Justin Kinseth said. "Over the past few years, UWO has produced six United States Championship qualifiers which is an incredible achievement. This is a testament to our program's success, not only among Division III competition, but amongst the best athletes in our nation. For Dylan, this will be his first experience competing at USA's and I'm thrilled to see him test his mettle against the best sprinters in the world. As for Josh, this will be his final meet wearing Titan Gold and he is a seasoned athlete at these championships. I am more than ready for him to showcase his consistency as a championship-level long jumper."
 
Doss will race in the first round of the 100-meter dash at 4:15 p.m. eastern (3:15 p.m. central time) with the final scheduled for 4:48 p.m. eastern (3:48 central).
 
In his first indoor season at UW-Oshkosh, Doss was named the WIAC Indoor Championship Men's Performer of the Meet after winning the 60- and 200-meter dashes before claiming All-America honors in both events as well as the long jump.
 
Outdoors, the two-time WIAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week won the 100-meter dash at the conference meet and ran the second leg of the title-winning 400-meter relay squad before earning another trio of All-America medals in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and long jump while running second on the 400-meter relay which won the men's first national outdoor relay title.
 
In all, Doss set UW-Oshkosh's indoor and outdoor 200-meter dash, outdoor 400-meter dash, indoor and outdoor 4x400-meter relay and outdoor 4x100-meter relay records. The 4x100-meter relay mark, 38.96 seconds, also broke the NCAA Division III record.
 
Rivers is set to begin the long jump at 6:10 p.m. eastern (5:10 p.m. central).
 
Rivers concluded his career at Oshkosh with the indoor and outdoor long jump titles at both the WIAC and Division III championships, wrapping up a run of three straight years in which he won all four crowns. He became just the third long jumper to win three indoor WIAC long jump titles, the only long jumper to win three WIAC outdoor titles, the only long jumper to win three Division III indoor titles in a row, and the second long jumper to win at least three Division III outdoor titles. The WIAC Indoor Championship Men's Field Performer of the Meet and U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association North Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year, Rivers was tabbed as the WIAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week once this year.
