The UW-Oshkosh baseball program has long been a producer of professional talent. In fact, 53 former UW-Oshkosh players have gone on to sign professional contracts, including 17 since 1995.

Major League Baseball began its draft of amateur players in 1956. Since then, 35 UW-Oshkosh players have been selected, including six in the second round. In 1999, UW-Oshkosh became the first NCAA Division III school to have five players drafted from the same school in the same year.

Eight former Titans (Dorian Boyland, Jim Gantner, Terry Jorgensen, Jim Magnuson, Dan Neumeier, Jack Taschner, Gary Varsho, Jarrod Washburn) have played in a regular-season Major League Baseball game. Gantner still ranks third in Milwaukee Brewers history with 1,801 games played.

Additionally, three Titans (Gantner, Varsho, Washburn) have played in a Major League Baseball postseason game. Washburn and the 2002 Los Angeles Angels defeated the San Francisco Giants, 4-3, to win the World Series.
