ELMHURST, Ill.- The UW-Oshkosh women's volleyball team downed Elmhurst College (Ill.) in three sets at the Bluejays' R.A. Faganel Hall in a nonconference tilt on Saturday night (Oct. 19).

The No. 7 nationally ranked Titans (21-4, 3-1 WIAC) totaled 60 points in the contest against the Bluejays' (12-9, 2-4 CCIW) 33 points. They also led 47-22 in kills, .239-.102 in hitting percentage, 40-20 in assists, 7-4 in aces, and 46-41 in digs. Elmhurst led 7-6 in blocks.

Riley Kindt (Fifth • Brookfield) notched 15 kills, hitting .370 while
Hannah Moe (Jr. • Oconto) hit .500 with 12.
Kalli Mau (Fifth • Kimberly) and
Izzy Coon (Jr. • Fond du Lac) both recorded 17 assists across the three sets while
Sami Perlberg (So. • Chippewa Falls) tallied three aces.
Joslyn Wolff (Sr. • Reeseville) led the Titans with three blocks (two solo) and both
Abby Fregien (Sr. • Waukesha) and Perlberg dug 13 attacks.

Elmhurst scored the first three points of the first set, however the lead didn't last long as the Titans went on a 5-1 run to grab their first edge. The teams traded small runs and the lead the rest of the set until two kills by Kindt and a Perlberg ace broke a late 22-22 tie for take a 1-0 lead.

The Titans and Bluejays against played tight through the second set, neither team leading by more than four points or scoring more than three in a row.
Olivia Breunig (Sr. • Sauk Prairie) brought Oshkosh to a 24-21 set point on a kill and even with two points for Elmhurst, Oshkosh won set two as Kindt hit another kill.

Perlberg and Moe registered kills to put the Titans up 2-0 to start set three and UW-Oshkosh never looked back. The Bluejays scored eight points in the set while the Titans strung together runs of three, eight, three, and five points, winning the set and match on an Elmhurst attack error.

The Titans will head to Stevens Point to face the receiving votes Pointers on Saturday (Oct. 26) at Shirley Enger Court at Berg Gym at 6 p.m.
