APPLETON, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's swimming & diving team traveled to Appleton on Saturday (Nov. 9) to compete at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational.

Competing against four other teams, the Titans had 22 top-3 finishes, including four first place times which allowed them a second-place finish with a total of 666 points.

The Titans started out the day with a second-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay, with the team of
Sienna Della-Peruta (So. • Grayslake, Ill.),
Payton Purdy (Fr. • Sterling, Ill.),
Cadence Showalter (Sr. • Naperville, Ill.), and
Elsa Piering (Fr. • Hartland) finishing in 4:26.35. Della-Peruta would also take a first place win in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing 1:02.58, and second place in the 200-yard backstroke, with a finish of 2:17.87.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Showalter,
Rowan Sinclair (Fr. • Temecula, Calif.),
Kori Burnett (Fr. • Beloit), and
Francesca Schiro (Sr. • New Glarus) placed first, finishing in 3:48.29. Schiro also placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54:57, as well as second in 200-yard individual medley and third in the 100-yard butterfly, with a time of 2:15.72 and 1:03.8, respectively. Burnett finished third in the 100-yard free, at 57.10, as well as third in the 50-yard freestyle at 26:29

Sinclair finished the 400-yard individual medley at 4:56.16, placing third.

Showalter finished third in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing one second behind Della-Peruta at 2:18.7. She finished third, behind
Brianna Wesenberg's (Jr. • Ripon) 19.13.35 second-place finish with her own time of 19:31.17.

In addition, Wesenberg finished first in the 500-yard freestyle, with a time of 5:34.51.
Bee Ecklund (So. • Elgin, Ill.) finished third with a finish of 5:39.44. Ecklund and Wesenberg would help teammates
Bella Cichon (So. • Manhattan, Ill.) and
Kylee Dinninger (So. • DeWitt, Mich.) finish third in the 200-yard medley relay.

Angela Satterlee (Sr. • Edgerton),
Layla Ogango (So. • Leesburg, Va.),
Elizabeth Fritz (So. • Mokena, Ill.), and
Julie Innerebner (So. • Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.) contributed to a 1:54.66, and third-place 200-yard freestyle relay.

Diving,
Maya Indiraraj (Jr. • West Bend) finished first in both the 3- and 1- meter dives, with scores of 378.10, and 350.9, respectively. In addition, Gianna Migliorese (Sr. • New Lenox, Ill.) and
Paige Vitek (So. • Raymond) finished second and third in the 1-meter, with scores of 250.7 and 250.6.

The Titans return to their home pool at Albee Hall, next Saturday (Nov. 16) against St. Norbert College. The first event starts at 1 p.m.
