DE PERE, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's tennis team travel to the Green Bay Tennis Center on Saturday (Sept. 21) and beat St. Norbert College, 5-2, in its penultimate nonconference matchup of the fall season.

The Titans (4-2, 0-1 WIAC) took the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches to win the doubles point and won over the Green Knights (4-1, 4-0 NACC) at the top-four singles positions, earning four more team points.

Olivia Pethan (So. • Oshkosh) and
Alysa Pattee (Sr. • Waupun) defeated Allison Unverzagt and Grace Peters 6-3 in the first doubles flight and
Courtney Carpenter (Jr. • Oshkosh) and
Brianna Owens (Fr. • Appleton) grabbed No. 2 doubles in a tiebreaker 7-6 (8-6).

Pethan also won over Jordan Domnick at the top singles position, 6-0 and 6-3.
Mana Usui (Fr. • Franklin) bested Unverzagt by scores of 6-1 and 6-0 at the second position. She was followed by Titan wins at No. 3 and 4 by Pattee (6-0, 6-2) and Owens (6-2, 6-4).

At the No. 6 singles,
Grace Brown (Fr. • Sugar Grove, Ill.) took set two 6-4 after dropping the first 4-6. In the tiebreaker however, Green Knight Irene Multhauf pulled out a 10-7 victory.

The Titans will face Marian University (1-3, 1-3 NACC) at the Kolf Sports Center Outdoor Courts on Wednesday (Sept. 25) at 4 p.m. before beginning their WIAC competition by hosting UW-River Falls next Saturday (Sept. 28) at 11 a.m.
