OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh's women's tennis team dominated Marian University on Wednesday (Sept. 25), securing a flawless 7-0 win at the Kolf Sports Center Outdoor Courts on significant contributions from the entire lineup.

Leading the charge,
Olivia Pethan (So. • Oshkosh) partnered with
Alysa Pattee (Sr. • Waupun) for a 6-0 win at the No. 1 doubles before defeating Marian's Melana Brunton 6-0, 6-0 in the top singles flight. Pethan's consistent dominance at the top flights set the tone for the rest of the team.

Standout newcomer
Mana Usui (Fr. • Franklin), who joined forces with
Cate Gerl (So. • Joliet, Ill.) at the No. 3 doubles (6-0), also swept her second flight singles match with a commanding 6-0, 6-0 win over Kendall Pliner.

Brianna Owens (Fr. • Appleton) added depth to the roster, partnering with
Kayla Gibbs (So. • Muskego) to secure a 6-0 win at the No. 2 doubles before cruising past Josephine Bruch 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4 Singles.

Grace Brown (Fr. • Sugar Grove, Ill.) also shone at the No. 6 singles, easily defeating Izabella Majsterek 6-0, 6-0, rounding off the team's sweep.

The victory lifts UW-Oshkosh's record to 5-2 as it prepares for its next matchup against UW-River Falls on Saturday (Sept. 28) at the Kolf Sports Center Outdoor Courts. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
