Titans Fall To Maroons

CHICAGO- The UW-Oshkosh women's soccer team traveled to Chicago on Saturday (Sept. 28) to take on the University of Chicago Maroons. The Titans lost to the Maroons by a score of 4-1.

Midfielder Maris Heun (Jr. • Watertown, Minn.) scored her second goal of the season, in only 20 minutes on the pitch.  The goal came in the 62nd minute, coming off the foot of Heun from outside the box, floating over the Maroons keeper's head and finding the back of the net.  Heun's goal was assisted by forward Anika Roush (Jr. • Byron, Ill.), her first assist of the year.  Oshkosh keeper Emma Sauriol (Sr. • New Lenox, Ill.) saved five of UChicago's nine shots on goal.

The Titans head back home to take on North Park University (Ill.), Wednesday night (Oct. 2) at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
