LA CROSSE, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's volleyball earned its fifth consecutive win over UW-La Crosse on Wednesday (Oct. 15) with a 3-0 win at Mitchell Hall Gymnasium.

The
No. 3 nationally ranked Titans (21-2, 4-0 WIAC), the fastest team to 20 wins in the NCAA this season regardless of division and one of just five programs to reach the milestone, extended their 2025 winning streak to eight matches and won their 17th 3-0 match by posting set wins of 25-13, 25-17, and 25-12 over the Eagles (16-9, 0-4 WIAC).

UW-Oshkosh hit a season-best .440 with 48 kills on 91 total attacks, committing eight errors while UW-La Crosse recorded a .093 attack percentage. The Titans also paced the Eagles in service aces (6-4), team blocks (7-4), assists (46-24), and digs (43-32).

Samantha Perlberg (Chippewa Falls/Chippewa Falls) and
Lauren Grier (Fond du Lac/Fond du Lac) both reached double-digit kills. Perlberg hit .467 with 16 kills and Grier had 12 kills on a .526 hitting percentage. Both committed just two attack errors. Perlberg had her 10th double-double by adding 10 digs.

Leading UW-Oshkosh's setters was
Jaclyn Dutkiewicz (Franklin/Franklin), who recorded 23 assists while
Izzy Coon (Fond du Lac/St. Mary's Springs Academy) recorded 17.

Callie Panasuk (Oak Creek/Oak Creek) registered team bests with 14 digs and three service aces.

The Titans earned their first point of the night with a Perlberg kill before claiming a 4-2 lead they would never relinquish in the first set. After building a larger lead with two 2-point spurts, Oshkosh dashed to its first set win by tallying runs of three, four, and four points. After Perlberg notched another kill, she finished the set off with a solo block.

UW-La Crosse scored first in the second set with a kill, but the Titans took the following six points on four Perlberg kills, a Grier/Perlberg block, and an unforced Eagle error. La Crosse responded to an Oshkosh run with four straight points that decreased the deficit to 12-8 and later got within a pair of points at 16-14 with short runs but was held to scoring one serve at a time for the remainder while UW-Oshkosh had a 4-0 run that helped it past the 20-point mark. Clare McEniry (North Aurora, Ill./Rosary) put the Titans up, two sets to none, with kills assisted by Dutkiewicz.

After the Eagles took an early 4-3 edge, UW-Oshkosh earned six consecutive points to flip the lead. The Titans' dominant offense scored on kills in 10 of their final 17 points, scoring in a short bout of three points to make the score 13-6. Later, seven points in a row were notched, bringing the game to match point.
Grace Juergens (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Community) tallied the final point of the night with her sixth kill.
