MINNEAPOLIS- Curtis Jaskulke (Stoughton/Stoughton) earned D3football.com Team of the Week honors for the first time in his career on Tuesday (Oct. 21) after helping UW-Oshkosh football to a 28-21 homecoming win over UW-Eau Claire over the weekend.
Jaskulke anchored a Titan defense that had four players with seven tackles. Along with seven total tackles, he recorded four solo tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, and an 8-yard sack while hurrying the Blugolds' quarterback twice. Jaskulke had a tackle for loss and a hurry to force the Blugolds to punt in their first possession and stopped Eau Claire twice more on third down which resulted in another pair of punts.
Jaskulke was the first defensive end in program history to be tabbed as a D3football.com Team of the Week honoree. His selection increased UW-Oshkosh's national weekly honors to four on the season, which is just the second time since D3football.com began announcing the award in 1999 that the Titans had at least four team members (five in 2012).
