OSHKOSH, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's soccer hosted UW-La Crosse at home on Saturday (Oct. 25). With three first half goals, the Eagles won, 5-1.

The Titans (5-6-5, 1-4-1 WIAC) recorded 11 total shots, including four on goal, while 12 the Eagles' (15-2-1, 5-0-1 WIAC) 17 shots were on goal. La Crosse also led 7-3 in corner kicks with six in the second half.

Maris Heun (Watertown, Minn./Watertown-Mayer) scored for the first time this season on Saturday afternoon on two shots on goal.
Addyson Edwards (Appleton/Appleton West) and
Greta Steines (Eau Claire/Eau Claire Memorial) also had shots on goal in the contest in the 50th and 62nd minutes, respectively.

Mallory Kerhin (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest) faced all 17 of La Crosse's shots, saving seven while allowing five goals.

The Eagles scored three times in the first 20 minutes of the contest at 36 seconds, 14:12, and 19:04 to claim an early edge. They tallied two more goals through the 75th minute to make the score 5-0.

Heun capitalized on a mistake by substitute Eagle goalkeeper Robin Blair and scored to the right side of the net at 77:09 from 20 yards out.

The Titans will return to J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium on Saturday, November 1 for their regular season finale against UW-River Falls (11-4-2, 3-2-1 WIAC) at 2 p.m. Oshkosh is 7-2-1 in the last 10 matchups with the Falcons and has won each of the last four games.
