GREENWOOD, Ind.- UW-Oshkosh women's soccer had six student-athletes on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Academic All-District® Team when the national organization announced its annual teams on Tuesday (Nov. 25).
Ariana Gonzalez (Appleton/Appleton North),
Maris Heun (Watertown, Minn./Watertown-Mayer),
Mallory Kerhin (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest),
Anika Roush (Byron, Ill./Byron),
Greta Steines (Eau Claire/Eau Claire Memorial), and
Shannon Walsh (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) each represented UW-Oshkosh on the list. Heun, Roush, and Walsh collected their second career honors while Gonzalez, Kerhin, and Steines made their first appearances.
Gonzalez is a junior midfielder who owns a 3.72 cumulative grade-point average as a psychology major. She started 17 matches for the Titans this season and led the program with eight points on four goals, including two game winners on her way to All-WIAC First Team honors. Gonzalez also made Oshkosh's only penalty kick attempt across the 18-match schedule.
A biomedical science major with a 3.96 cumulative GPA, Heun played in all 18 matches this year and started in four. The senior forward scored twice, against UW-La Crosse and UW-River Falls, and assisted another goal for five points.
The Titans' starting goalkeeper, Kerhin is a rehabilitation science major with a 3.96 cumulative GPA. The 2025 All-WIAC Honorable Mention selection ranked second in league play with three shutouts and led the WIAC in the regular season with six overall. A two-time WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week this season, Kerhin, a junior, averaged 4.67 saves per game and had the conference's third-lowest goals against average at 1.200 in conference play.
Roush is a nursing major with a 3.88 cumulative GPA. Oshkosh's representative on the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team, the senior forward played in all 18 matches and started against Carroll University on Wednesday, October 15. She tallied an assist in the Titans' annual 151 Derby against the University of Dubuque (Iowa) on Saturday, September 20.
A music education major with a 3.98 cumulative GPA, Steines played in 17 games with eight starts as a forward. The junior earned points on assists at Lewis & Clark College (Ore.) on Friday, August 29 and against UW-River Falls at home on Saturday, November 1.
Walsh is a junior defender who studies nursing and owns a 4.00 cumulative GPA. Besides contributing to Oshkosh's seven shutouts in defense, she assisted on goals in three consecutive matches between September 14 and September 24.
UW-Oshkosh finished the season 6-7-5 and 2-4-1 in WIAC play. The Titans posted seven shutouts on the year including a 2-0 victory over UW-River Falls at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium on Saturday, November 1 to earn their spot in the WIAC Tournament (presented by Culver's).
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Wednesday, December 17.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
