OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's soccer team will be traveling to Buenos Aires, Argentina for its biennial foreign trip. The Titans' trip will last 10 days and take the team across the city.
Flying in on March 20, the Titans will take a walking tour around Buenos Aires in their first day in Argentina. On day three, the team will go to the San Telmo district, where it will have lunch before participating in a training session.
UW-Oshkosh will play Estudiantes de La Plata in a friendly match on March 24 and take in a professional match between Estudiantes de La Plata and Central Cordoba that night.
On March 25, the Titans will enjoy a tour of River Plate Stadium and play Racing Club and Arsenal Club in back-to-back days on March 26-27. They will take in a tango show after the match against Racing Club and visit the Buenos Aires Hard Rock Café before the Arsenal Club match.
In their seventh day in Argentina, the Titans are set to take a guided city tour that includes a tour of Boca Juniors Stadium and a lunch. They will participate in a professional-led training session before closing out with a night of fun.
Oshkosh will spend most of March 27 on a local farm and take a tour of the AFA First Team Complex after checking out of its hotel.
