MENOMONIE, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's gymnastics team, led by a first-place finish on the balance beam by
Lydia Hayden, took second in the UW-Stout Triangular on Thursday night (Feb. 20).

The host Blue Devils won the meet with a team score of 191.900, the Titans scored a 191.150 for second, and Winona State University (Minn.) took third with a 189.900.

The Titans scored a 47.975 on the uneven bars, a 47.600 on the balance beam, a 47.425 on the floor exercise, and a 48.150 on the vault.

As UW-Oshkosh began the meet on the uneven bars,
Amaya McConkay (Sr. • Broken Arrow) scored a 9.800 to secure second place.
Reanna McGibboney (Jr. • Chester Springs, Pa.) placed seventh at 9.650 points and
Sam Zeilinger (Sr. • Wheaton, Ill.) took eighth with a score of 9.625.

Hayden (Jr. • Broomfield, Colo.) won the balance beam by scoring a 9.725. She was joined in the top-8 by
Jay Ratkowski (So. • Franklin), who placed third at 9.625 points and
Emma Steele (So. • Orange County, Calif.), who placed fifth at 9.575 points.

During the floor exercise, Ratkowski repeated as a third-place finisher, this time tallying 9.675 points.
Mia Lucero (Sr. • Bolingbrook, Ill.) scored a 9.600 for sixth place while Cienkus and McGibboney both recorded a 9.575 to tie for eighth.

McGibboney led the Titans with a second-place score of 9.750 points on the vault, followed by a sixth place 9.675 by McConkay and a seventh place 9.625 by
Mia Passarella (So. • Atlanta, Ga.).

The Titans host Greenville University (Ill.), UW-La Crosse, and Winona State at Kolf Sports Center on Thursday, Feb. 27 for a 6 p.m. quadrangular. The meet is the regular season finale before the WIAC Championships/NCGA West Regional Championship in La Crosse on Saturday, March 8 and the NCGA Championship in Saint Peter, Minn. on Saturday, March 22.
