BROWN DEER, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's swimming & diving team broke a trio of program records four times in the penultimate day of the
2025 WIAC Championship (presented by Culver's) Friday (Feb. 21).

Rowan Sinclair (Fr. • Temecula, Calif.) set the Titans' 400-yard individual medley record at 4:40.94 in the preliminary round and again with a third-place finish of 4:40.94 in the final round.

Francesca Schiro (Sr. • New Glarus) set the 200-yard freestyle record for the second time of the championship on Friday night. She decreased her NCAA Division III Championship 'B' Cut time to 1:51.54 as she won the individual event.

A 27-year old record, the oldest on UW-Oshkosh's books headed into this year's league meet, finally fell when Schiro,
Kori Burnett (Fr. • Beloit),
Grace Fergus (Sr. • Sugar Grove, Ill.), and
Cadence Showalter (Sr. • Naperville, Ill.) took fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:38.35.

The previous record (1:38.70) was set by Jennifer Hasel, Janice Weis, Emily Allen, and Angela Middleton at the 1998 WIAC Championship.

UW-Oshkosh claimed an additional three top-eight finishes.
Sienna Della-Peruta (So. • Grayslake, Ill.) took sixth in the 100-yard backstroke at 59.12 seconds, Showalter took eighth in the 100-yard butterfly at 59.38 seconds, and
Bella Cichon (So. • Manhattan, Ill.) took eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:08.91.

The Titans sit fourth in the team standings after four days with 281 points. UW-La Crosse extended its lead to 744 points.

The final day of the WIAC Championship begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday (Feb. 22).
