OSHKOSH, Wis.- Brody Toledo will make his debut on the national stage as he represents the UW-Oshkosh men's wrestling team at the NCAA Division III Championships on Friday (March 14) in Providence, Rhode Island.

Action is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Friday and Saturday (March 14-15) at the Amica Mutual Pavilion. The event is hosted by Johnson & Wales University-Providence(R.I.)

Toledo (Fr. • Burlington) finished second in the 133-pound bracket at the Division III Region VII Championship held in Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 28-March 1, his first appearance in NCAA postseason competition. He reached the regional championship with a pair of decisions and a 1:03 pin over Kie Anderson from Concordia Moorhead College (Minn.).

Toledo, who enters the meet unseeded with a 12-16 overall record including a 4-1 mark at 133-pounds, opens the bracket with a bye. He will wrestle his first match against either sixth-seeded Caden Frost from New England College (N.H.) or seventh-seeded Jonah Paulino from Roanoke College (Va.). Frost took third in the 133-pound bracket at the Region I Championship in Connecticut and Paulino took second in the weight class at the Region IV meet in Virginia.

With a win, Toledo then faces either third-seeded Garrett Totten from The College of New Jersey, or unseeded Isaias Torres from Ithaca College (N.Y.).

UW-Oshkosh will be represented at the Division III Championship for the seventh consecutive championship dating back to 2017 and the . The 2020 and 2021 national meets were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Titans' best finish at the national championship was sixth place at the 1982 meet, where they scored 46 points.

The top eight finishers in each of the 10 weight classes at the national championships earn All-America honors.

Augsburg University (Minn.) won the 2024 Division III team title in La Crosse with 95 points, the 15th national championship in program history. Wartburg College (Iowa) was the national runner-up with 87.5 points. UW-La Crosse, last year's host, followed in third with 82.5 points and Johnson & Wales, this year's host, took fourth with 76.
