MANHEIM, Pa.- Five members of the UW-Oshkosh women's wrestling team were named National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NCAA Scholar All-Americans on Friday (March 10).

Annesley Day (Fr. • Round Rock, Texas),
Mya Delleree (Fr. • Fredonia),
Paige Haaf (Fr. • St. Croix Falls),
Emma Hady (Fr. • Muscoda), and
Keara Micek (Fr. • Schaumburg, Ill.) each earned the honor.

Day holds a 3.33 grade-point average as an undeclared major, Delleree is a physical education major with a 3.66 GPA, Haaf is an elementary & middle school education major with a 4.00 GPA, Hady is an elementary & middle school education major with a 3.66 GPA, and Micek is a psychology major with a 3.50 GPA.

"The NWCA is proud to honor these outstanding individuals who demonstrate excellence on the mat and in the classroom as well," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer.

In order to be eligible for the award, student-athletes must meet one of the following criteria: place in the top-eight at the national championship and hold at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, compete in a minimum of 15 matches that are recorded in trackwrestling.com and hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, or qualify for the national championship and hold at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
