The Titans celebrated Senior Day on Saturday, recognizing 11 seniors

OSHKOSH, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh baseball won the third game of its series against UW-River Falls before falling in the fourth as the WIAC opponents completed their series at Tiedemann Field on Saturday (April 19).

The Titans (21-9, 12-6 WIAC) collected 18 hits against the Falcons' (12-18, 5-13 WIAC) 20, registering seven extra-base hits and eight RBIs.

Connor Brinkman (Sr. • New London) started on the mound in the first game of the day, going 6.1 innings and striking out four batters. He allowed four runs (three earned) on eight hits and a walk. Ryan Richter (Fr. • Waukesha) threw the final 2.2 innings and held the Falcons scoreless with a strikeout, earning his third win of the season.

Owen Housinger (Jr. • Hawthorn Woods, Ill.) hit 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs, and an RBI. Logan Schill (So. • Pewaukee) tallied two RBIs on 1-for-3 with a walk and Mason Kirchberg (Sr. • DeForest) hit a double in three at-bats with an RBI.

Housinger tallied Oshkosh's first run of the game in the bottom of the second inning. He reached on a single up the middle and moved to second on a Jack McNamara (Jr. • La Grange, Ill.) walk before scoring when Schill legged out an infield single.

River Falls tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the fourth inning with a single before Carter Stebane (Sr. • Brillion) reclaimed the lead in the sixth. He stole second, advanced to third on a throwing error by the catcher and scored when the center fielder overthrew third.

A Falcon three-run home run made the score 4-2 in the seventh.

Braydon Skenandore (So. • De Pere) scored in the eighth, reaching home on Housinger's triple after walking. Housinger tied the score at 4-4 two batters later when Schill hit a sacrifice fly to right field.

After Richter forced three straight flyouts in the top of the ninth inning, the Titans earned their fifth walk off win of the season and third consecutive in the bottom half of the frame. Nick Shiu (Sr. • Gurnee, Ill.) drew a leadoff walk and Jack McKellips (Jr. • Oshkosh) came out to pinch run. McKellips then scored from first base when Kirchberg doubled to left field.
