Masloroff Takes Second In Shot Put; Titans Eighth After Second Day Of National Championship

Brenna Masloroff earned the first All-America First Team honor of her career in the shot put on Friday

GENEVA, Ohio- UW-Oshkosh's women's track & field continued the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio on Friday (May 23). The Titans vaulted to eighth in the team standings by scoring eight points when Brenna Masloroff (Franklin/Franklin) took second in the shot put.
 
UW-Eau Claire leads the 105 women's teams at the national meet with 27 points.
 
Masloroff's personal best shot put mark of 14.73 meters put her in first place after the first flight of the event before Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Alex Boykin broke 2019 UW-Oshkosh Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Robyn Jarocki-Hughes' 19-year old Division III record of 16.77 meters in the second flight. Masloroff's second-place finish earned her the first All-America First Team honor in the event in her career.
 
Hunt earned her first All-America nod in the heptathlon with a 15th place finish after the seventh event finished on Friday. She scored a total of 4,491 points. Her best finishes in individual events were fifth in the high jump and eighth in the long jump.
 
For the third straight outdoor championship, Cyna Madigan (Rosendale/Laconia) was named an All-American in the 800-meter run. A two-time first team honoree, Madigan took 10th in the preliminary round of the event in 2:11.64.
