Mallory Kerhin (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest) saved both shots on goal she faced as UW-Oshkosh women's soccer closed out its West Coast trip with a win over Willamette University (Ore.) on Sunday (August 31).

UW-Oshkosh (1-0-1) shot 10 times in the game with five on goal.
Belle Dehner (Cottage Grove/Monona Grove) led the Titans with three shots, two on goal while
Addyson Edwards (Appleton/Appleton West) and
Maris Heun (Watertown, Minn./Watertown-Mayer) shot twice, once on goal.

Willamette (0-1) recorded five shots and two on goal in the match. Kerhin split her saves between the halves with one in the first and another in the 50th minutes.

The Bearcats' goalkeeper, Siera Edwards, saved four Titan shots on goal across the match – once in the first half in the eighth minute, and three times in the second half in the 79th, 84th, and 88th minutes.

Oshkosh jumped on the board 3:21 into the contest when
Ryley Meenk (Waukesha/Waukesha South) passed the ball to LeRoy who was set up just outside the goal box and tapped the ball into the net with the outside of her right foot.

The Bearcats nearly took the lead before the clock reached one minute when Kerhin jumped in front of a shot at 0:46.

After the intermission, the Titans did not take another shot on goal until the final 11 minutes of play. Heun tried for the bottom right corner of the goal at 78:55 and both Dehner and Edwards tried for a two-goal lead to center bottom at 83:26 and 87:12 respectively.

Sunday's match was the first between UW-Oshkosh and Willamette University.

The Titans will head west again on Saturday (September 6) to play Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) (1-0) in Saint Peter, Minnesota at 2 p.m. Before last season's 2-2 tie at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium, the programs had only played once before with Oshkosh winning a neutral site match, 1-0, at the start of the 2012 season.
